I have always loved spending time surrounded by children and wanted to create a one-of-a-kind environment that could provide learning through play. After providing childcare for 15 years at The Ridgeway Educational Rec Centre I decided to pursue my dream of opening a new childcare facility for infants, toddlers and preschool aged children. The name itself was inspired by a women’s hockey team I played on that changed my life called the ‘bright stars’. ‘Little Bright Stars’ was the name I went with as I built a team of warm and energetic caregivers to create a home away from home for all of the wonderful children that come through the door every morning. And the rest is history.
